Dealing with a Possible Misdiagnosis of Bipolar Disorder

I went to get screen for personality disorder after they asked me questions they told me there was a possibility of personality disorder but wanted to be sure, I am just going to wait and see but right now I know I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder Iā€™m a little confused and a little scared what the outcome will be next I am hoping that this whole situation can be resolved how do you guys cope with A wrong diagnoses if had any ?

Hey, I hope you are doing ok and I know that getting diagnosed can be scary. I had a wrong diagnosis about seasonal depression when I was 11, but then a few weeks after that I was correctly diagnosed with major depression. I was young so it didn't affect me much (the diagnosis) altho that everything I was feeling had an answer. Also side note: you can be diagnosed with both Bipolar disorder and Borderline personality disorder (BPD) (like me lol) but if you were misdiagnosed with bipolar instead of BPD well just take into consideration that it's very hard to tell from the two they have alot of overlapping symptoms so it's hard to diagnose it overall so just be patient on this journey. You are not alone šŸ’•šŸ¤—

wait I could have both at the same time ?? I went to get retested but they told me I had bipolar disorder so maybe I have boarderlone PD as well Yes you are correct I have to be patient
