I just go to acupuncture. Seems to be the only thing that helps. Oh sometimes heat.

Low dose naltrexone has been helping me.

GABAPENTIN. I never had any relief until I started taking gabapentin. Also when I first started it, the drowsiness side effect hit me like a truck and I was sleeping for around 20 hours a day for a few weeks. That period of time is the only time anyone has ever told me I look well-rested š
Pain mgmt. You need a pain specialist. That stuff is garbage. You need opiods. Only thing that truly helps me and sometimes it's not enough. Most things they want you to take put on weight and have side effects. Don't get discouraged. Keep trying to get help. It's a rare gem of a Dr who has a clue about fibro.

Something that you need to remember is to have hope!!! The pain will really take a lot out of you emotionally. Doctors are still learning about our condition (a few years back I even had one tell me itās not real!!) Be patient with your journey. I know itās easy to feel like the pain will never end but we are learning more and more every day.

for medication, gabapentin and cyclobenzaprine have worked best for me. otherwise, lidocaine patches on the worst spots
It can take a while to find something that helps. I tried like three different meds before finding the one Iām on now. Itās frustrating but patience is the best way. Gabapentin is working well for me but itās not for everyone.
Thank you for all your advice. Truly appreciate it!š¤
Hi, this might sound silly but what is a pain rub? Is that like. Medical patch or Mineral Ice you place on the area that hurts

I use a heating pad every night, and I take low dose naltrexone for pain. Magnesium glycinate is the only thing Iāve found that helps me sleep through the night without a prescription.

I use lidocaine patches and lidocaine gel. I also use things suggested here. Delta 8 gummies is how I sleep at night. I take methancarbonol and ganapentin and I'm in pain mgmt.

I take duloxetine which is generic form of Cymbalta. It helps for a while but not always. Definitely a combination of heating pad, oils and keeping stress down is most obvious.
I'm on lyrica for my fibromyalgia. Gabipentin caused me to see things that weren't there
Please be careful if you use Gabipentin different people get different reactions to it. I had seizures and uncontrollable shaking of the body from that medication
I am on Nabumetone 500mg 3 times a day. I use it for both my Fibromyalgia and my Peripheral neuropathy. Maybe you should read up on it and then ask your Rheumatologist. Hope you get relief of your pain soon.
No conventional meds work for Me. I use alternative stuff
A good pain rub. A heated mattress pad and gabipentin has worked better then anything else for me. Best tips i have good luck
