I’ve tried Cymbalta, Gabapentin, Lyrica and LDN and none of those worked for me. Robaxin (muscle relaxer) helps some but can’t take daily or side effects get bad. Seroquel before bed helps for sleep more than anything else I’ve tried and it also helps with anxiety a bit as well.

My doctor retired and I’m seeing a Pain Doctor now: he continues with my Vicodin. I had to start Lyrica again with Cymbalta because of increasing flares! I also have Ra and psoriatic arthritis , cervical degenerative disk disease and Irritable Bowel. Any one have as many problems? I now have long COVID after having Delta?

I stopped taking my Lyrica and started having more Fibromyalgia attacks! I take Cymbalta, Hydrocodone and Lyrica.

I take pregabalin (Lyrica), duloxetine (Cymbalta) and hydrocodone. I also smoke a healthy amount of weed. It really seems to be a good combination and I don’t have side effects.

I’ve tried the CBD and smoking weed and it burns my tongue and throat and just makes me feel extremely tired. However, it really did nothing for my pain at all.

Naltrexone is helping me and I sometimes use Gabapentin and Zanaflex for flares.

Lyrica has been a blessing. Nothing helped until I took that, it didn't take the pain away but reduced it enough that it allows me to have relief

Literally when my eyes open in the morning I am in pain. It makes it very difficult just to get out of my bed. As of late, my legs won’t support me so I’m riding around the house on my walker. My dog keeps sniffing me and my cat won’t leave my side. My current meds only take the edge off so I’m not rolling in the floor, but the pain is always underlying. I’m only 52. I always saw myself as being much more vibrant at this age, but here I sit. I see a new pain management Dr next week after 7 years. I truly hope he has some new methods, or ideas I don’t know about that will help me become more mobile again.

They have tried me on Lyrica cymbalta which I am allergic to. Other medicines like gabapentin and I can't remember a few other things. But they were no help to me.

I wonder though after I looked up that this was a nerve pain blocker if it would truly be the best thing for me. Yes, it would be a wonderful thing to not hurt but with MS sometimes I can’t breathe and it feels like my hearts coming out of my chest. I also have RA, Spondylosis and Fibro. The Fibro and the RA, again I think would be Point on, but if I truly hurt my spine and couldn’t tell I might do more harm than good. What are your thoughts?

The only 2 in this list of comments I’ve not tried is amitriptyline and Lyrica. The good thing is I don’t seem to have an addiction to anything. I’ve always been able to stop smoking on a dime, stop drinking just because I decided to and out of fear of being addicted to Vicodin, I quit taking it for 2 weeks with no affects. However, nothing has ever helped to make my pain manageable enough to clean my whole house without so much pain the next day, I couldn’t hardly move.

I have tried and am on so many different medications and I can’t get relief. It takes the edge off to make it manageable, but when 2 dilauted for break through pain doesn’t help, I have no choice but to go to the hospital an injection of I’ve dilauted will stop my pain, but I have one crutch. I can’t take any pain killer at all without Zofran. I’ll vomit it every time.

I just want something I can take every day that isn't for night time. Like I have meds for sleep pain and migraines. It works amazing but it doesn't help for the day. My muscle relaxer helps but not when I get a flare up.

i take amitryptiline and it shortens my flare ups significantly!

I tried Lyrica, but had to stop after gaining 17 pounds in 2 months. I just stopped Cymbalta recently because it was affecting my bipolar too much and making me manic, since it's an antidepressant.

I take both gabapentin and metaxalone (muscle relaxer). The combination is so helpful and I don't notice any side effects besides maybe being a little tired.

I also take gabapentin, and my doctor says it is easily the safest of the meds prescribed for fibro. also if metaxalone doesn't do well for author, methocarbamol is on the safer end of muscle relaxers(:

Cymbalta did not help me and gave me awful side effects. I found that combining lyrica and low dose naltrexone help me.

I tried to take Lyrica, but found after the first dose that I was allergic to the medication 😥

thx. Yeah my sister took it with some success and now she takes Cymbalta which is similar. I have been advised not to take either one because when I took Cymbalta years ago for depression it has that crazy reverse affect and gave me suicidal ideation. There don't seem to be very many meds that they even think help fibromyalgia, let alone know.
