How do you deal with the stigma around bipolar disorder? I find it so hard to stay positive when every time I try to research my mental illness I'm just met with articles on how not to make everyone hate you and the notion that we're hard to love or even be around..
I actually tell people I'm bipolar and explain what it's like for me so they can better understand why I act the way I do. Also try to make friends with other bipolar/neurodivergent people, as they are great for support. Make sure your meds are in balance and your working with a therapist that can help you better manage your emotions and how you interact with other people. You can be loved but you also need to work on yourself too. š
