I have a gastric bypass so I am lucky with that but what I try is to keep as active as I can and do an 80% diet 20% small indulgence to keep me in track
I followed a low sugar, high protein diet with light excersize for 60 minutes a day. Take it slow, and try to find healthy (but tasty) alternatives to your favorite foods.
I let my self eat as much healthy food as I would like but only eat a single serving size of less healthy stuff. I don’t feel like I’m starving myself but I also feel better because my body is getting the nutrients it needs without feeling like it’s being deprived.
