Cholesterol Levels and ADHD Meds: What Could Be the Issue?

my lab results for my adhd meds came back and my cholesterol level is 204. I’m assuming this is because of my increased appetite due to pcos+endometriosis hormonal meds but I thought I was eating okay!! could something other than food be the issue?

      Sometimes people have high cholesterol for no reason in particular, or because it's genetic. I've had my cholesterol in the mid 250s basically my entire life and no diet changes have ever worked for me. Everyone on my mother's side of the family has it as well. My mother has had limited success with statins; I was also on them for a time but I don't remember if my numbers got any better

      I think eating things that lower bad cholesterol will help. Veggies, nuts and even things like fresh olive oil help. Just a something like that everyday will help. Also oatmeal 🥣 helps lower it.

        @RhetoricalYou I doubt it’s genetic for me bcs no one in my family has high cholesterol but it really helps to know it can happen for no reason sometimes bcs I tend to harshly blame myself for things like this
