Look into "food environment". If you can change what you have on hand, you should be able to reduce some issues.

I found out only recently that cholesterol is made by our own body. My doctor says the most recent research is showing that dietary cholesterol isn’t what’s killing us. It’s our own body’s over-production of cholesterol that’s the problem. She put me on the lowest dose of Rosuvastatin. It works great and I’ve had no side effects. Triglycerides are another story. That aspect of our lipid panel is caused by poor diet, excess carbs and sugar, and lack of physical activity. I’m managing mine with diet and exercise as well as an Omega 3 supplement.
