Hi guys. I’ve been struggling with chronic derealization for much of my life. This pairs with my ADHD to create loads of fatigue and memory fog. I’ve been trying out meditation lately but it isn’t all that easy to connect to my body and the world around me. How do you manage your symptoms?

I distract myself. I focus on achieving my goals. The world feels more real when I have responsibilities and a reason to get up. The more you think about derealization the worse it gets. It is just your brain's coping mechanism that makes you feel a bit off or fuzzy. It can not hurt you.
