@Anxietyoctopus yeah. I do it all the time tho. Especially if I'm focusing on something

When I feel like I want to pick at my scalp I try to do hair care instead or using a scalp massager it gives the same affect and it helps me not pick

I cut my hair shorter. I also think I was picking not only because of anxiety but because my scalp was agitated I used tea tree oil and a different shampoo and conditioner and that helped a bit.

I actually shaved my head and noticed I picked less after that (obviously that’s a bit drastic just for picking, I had wanted to for a while and that wasn’t why I did it, just something that I noticed) That being said, bandaids, I put bandaids on my shoulder sometimes and then I pick at those instead of my scalp

I can't either! I pick at my face too. Is this something anxiety related?

@Crawfish I think so. I notice it only when I’m anxious
