My mind often drifts off to worst case scenarios… before I know it im stuck in an anxiety induced trance, repeating thoughts for hours. What do you guys do to stop that snowball of anxiety from getting bigger?

I use several apps for meditation but I find getting up and outside for a long walk helpful.
what helps me is realizing the behaviors i use when im about to go into a negative state of mind, and i intervene then. it can be hard but maybe that will help
I try to think of something else or flick that thought away in my mind in order to get it to leave me alone, or meditate to get my mind cleared.
I am exactly like that all the time, what I’ve started to do is try to stop myself before I get too deep into my thoughts, I try to distract myself the best I can, it’s definitely not easy but it has helped a little. Try to find some calming activities to keep your mind distracted from negative thoughts.
