I am having a difficult time gathering the strength to keep going. I don't want to die but I don't want to do anything.. like I don't care anymore

What you said reminds me of a song called Numb Little Bug by Em Beihold. You should give it a listen 🥰

You're not alone. I've been feeling that way a lot lately too. I also bought a tent from walmart.com for just $62 and sleeping bag from Walmart.com for $28 that was with the shipping fees though. So you could probably get it for even less in the store. I've started camping out around different parts of my hometown and just being out of the house in fresh air and sunlight helps a lot with my depression and the fact that I move around to different parts of town so I'm not staying in the same environment for too long or getting too bored. Boredom also makes depression worse. So this would probably help with your depression. Either that or buy a pet that's suitable for you. At some shelters you can adopt a dog or cat for a pretty good price. One time I adopted a cat from a shelter for just $50 and he was already neutered and everything. Do whatever suits you but if you think that getting a pet like a dog or cat will help with your depression then I would recommend adopting a dog or cat from a shelter rather than buying one at the pet store.

@ElizabethJune I totally agree Elizabeth....when I was at one of my worst times a stray dog showed up out of nowhere on a cold October day and I tried to find her owner....here we are 7 years later and she's still my blessing sent from I don't know where ❤️ I also have a special needs dog that gives me purpose to wake up every day. I'm a dog person. But if a cat works for you go for it 😀

Hey there! I'm sorry that you are having trouble trying to keep going, but maybe try creating a bucket list of things you would like to do or see that you've never seen or done before. I know it sounds a bit cliché, but when I had lost my motivation, creating a bucket list had helped out a ton, as it gave me things to look forward to. Also, getting a pet helps, because they would help you gather the strength to take care of them, in turn also helping to take care of yourself. It honestly does not matter the pet- a 25¢ goldfish from petco requires the same motivation as a $76 cat. I hope this helps, and I hope you feel better soon.
