my episodes are triggered by stress mostly, i feel my throat get really tight and i feel like i took 8 adderall (i don’t do drugs but i just feel very fast) i start talking a lot but literally nothing makes sense and then i get frustrated because i keep confusing myself. it’s a very hard experience to describe i think
i’m still figuring out my triggers. For me it starts out with just having a lot of energy and starting a lot of new projects, but sometimes it can manifest as anger and anxiety especially when I don’t have an outlet to release all my excess energy. I feel like I’m living in the present in an extreme sense, like nothing else exists except the moment that I’m in, i can’t think in the future tense so my decisions don’t have consequences. I tend to feel like I can’t lose and like I am special somehow so things will always work out.
My triggers are mostly SSRIs and SNRIs.
I can tell one is starting because I don’t get a lot of sleep the night prior and I am wide awake (I usually need around 8 hours of sleep to feel my best). I am euphoric, talkative but I don’t make a lot of sense. I have a high libido, and I’m way more impulsive than usual.
