different meds will work differently for everyone based on their biology; my best advice is to keep seeing your prescriber regularly and keep them updated on how you're feeling about the meds. as someone who also has borderline, i've had good luck with lamictal. i'd never use it again, but i know others who found abilify really helpful (but start with low doses!). i'm currently on nortriptyline and finding it more helpful than any previous antidepressant, but because of the type of drug it is, it's advisable to try others with less potential side effects first. you might be put on sertraline first, and zoloft worked best out of the commonly prescribed meds. the big point i want to emphasise is that it will probably take a few tries to find something that works. it may stop working eventually even when you find it. there may be bad side effects, or you may find that it helps you beyond what you expected - often both. another strong recommendation for bpd is dbt and/or act therapies - borderline is hard to treat pharmaceutically (at least solely) because of its roots in trauma, so if possible, it's highly likely that using those therapies in tandem with medication will be the most helpful for you. good luck with your visit. don't just take meds that make things worse because you were told to - contact your prescriber about it even if by phone or patient portal if you need a change or to step down from your meds.

Zoloft is working pretty good for me, I felt better within days of taking it which Is weird for an antidepressant.

I'm on Wellbutrin and Celexa, they work really well for me. I've learned to stay on em.
