Need new medication for my failing mental health

Each drug affects each of us differently ... I recommend that you try to find another therapist who will help you find the drug that works best for you. In addition, sometimes after years of using a particular drug, its effect begins to wane. Probably time for a change.

I take Lorazepam. I take it in the evening to fall asleep faster because It can also make you feel sleepy. This drug is supposed to increase the level of the neurotransmitter GABA, I recently heard from a friend that it is possible to take GABA supplement as well.

I started off with wellbutrin. Then sertraline was added. That lasted about a year and a half. Everything stopped working my doctor and I brain stormed and we decided on peroxitine. I have been on it now almost a year and feel really good.

I take a different type of SSRI and I feel it helps me. I don’t think there is a big difference between different types of SSRIs. Maybe the dose is low for you, and you need to increase it. Have you tried any other treatments besides medication? For me, CBT was really helpful for my anxiety...

Be careful with wellbutrin. It can cause anxiety, it's listed as a possible side effect. It messed me up bad with anxiety.

I'm with hammy on wellbutrin, it's by far been the best for me too

I've heard good things about Wellbutrin (Bupropion HCl) but personally I had severe side effects. My anxiety was increased severely, I had much more paranoia, i was frequently convinced i was going to die with each situation more real than the last, and several weeks were messed up for me off of only about 4 pills on a low dosage.

I'm on Wellbutrin and Lexapro, as well as Trazodone and hydroxyzine, those worked well for me

I'm on prozac, seroquel,adderall, abilify, wellbutrin, gabapentin, lyrica, klonopin, ambien and a plethora of other meds and without them I wouldn't be here right now.

I’ve heard good things about wellbutrin

Lexapro is the med that pulled me out of my really dark place the fastest, but it pooped out on me really fast as well.

Wellbutrin has worked well for me in the past. I just got back on it. I take hydroxyzine prn for anxiety and panic attacks and insomnia. And also buspirone for anxiety.

Wellbutrin, cymbalta, remeron. Wellbutrin helped me the most with the least side effects. Cymbalta helps with any nerve/bone pain. Remeron is great for anxiety, depression, and insomnia

Resperidone, clonapine, hydroxizine, seroquel.. might of spelled wrong
