Has anyone else with BPD ever lost a FP while splitting? Mine was killed while we were on bad terms, before I knew I had BPD so I didn’t understand my actions/thought process. I’ve gotten to a point where I deal with it better but I’m not sure how to just accept it and continue moving forward in life without being stuck on this, it’s already been 4 1/2 years now.

Its okay to grieve. But those of us who have BPD, that form of loss can cause us severe distress no matter how long it's been since it happened. Comes with anxiety, depression, erratic distressed behavior, feelings of abandonment, guilt, feeling isolated, and the list goes on. It causes a chain reaction. But what helped me is that I know deep in my heart that this person would want you to live your life to fullest. To take care of yourself. To accept and know that life goes on and its okay.
😥 I believe I can relate with some plot changes. 💚

Borderline is new to my old earthly body. So, may I ask, are you referring to a/the "favorite person" with FP?"
