Things are in black and white for Me so I usually will understand that gone is gone and there’s no inbetween for me. They aren’t coming back

i end up freaking out, but i eventually get over it. it takes a bit of waiting and you may end up having impulsive thoughts but genuinely the best advice i have is to wait it out.

I was so dependent on my fp for everything, even hygiene.

I don't know honestly. I've been suicidal for a week because my girlfriend of 4 years broke up with me. She was the only reason I was alive, clean, and sober. I lost my everything. We were going to marry and have kids. It came out of nowhere. Maybe we can relate?

Well I absolutely lost my flippin’ mind. I mean, I came completely unglued to the point that I almost dropped out of college to be put in a hospital because I was hurting myself. I’m medicated pretty heavily now so things are a lot better, but even almost 5 years out, I’m still really torn up about it. I don’t know if I’ll ever really heal from losing her. I’ve never actually attached myself to anyone else since. I don’t really make emotional connections with people at all anymore. I’m in therapy trying to get my head sorted out, but “my person” these days is my mom. She’s really the only person that I am attached to at all.

it’s going to take a lot of time and a lot of emotional pain, i’m still getting over a lost FP and he cut me off in late July 2021. you’ll make it through it, though I promise you! 💖
