Avoid dairy! Anything to do with milk! My bf always says "oh it helps the burning" but no, stomach acid in the longrun does not mix well with milk, and a chain reaction happens. Puke up what you need to and have a whole grain piece of bread toasted with warm mint tea, not peppermint tho.
