My GERD has been acting up more than usual lately causing me to have acid reflux and nausea when I lay down. Antacids nor milk is helping. Does anyone have any suggestions what I can do next?

Apple cider vinegar tablets and selenium taken everyday has made my Gerds nonexistent. I use to be on prescribed meds for it and got taken off them for kidney health they said so my bf researched and the acv tabs and sel. Has helped!!

^^^lemons are very high in alkaline which helps balance your stomachs acidity. It will cause u to quit producing as much acid and some of the symptoms will go away. This is a great natural way to soothe jt

I know this sounds crazy, but eat a couple of slices of a lemon WITH THE PEELING. U must eat the peeling as well It works for me. If I’m nauseous it instantly clears it up and it helps with my Chest pressure/pain

@Artistic_Witch I tried the honey and it makes it worse. :( It stinks because I love honey.

I take dexlansoprazole (generic of Dexilant). Also, sometimes marshmallows help my GERD, same with bread.

Raise your head up (8") a bit when you lay down. It will help with reflux. Avoid chocolate, alcohol, smoking, pop, eat earlier meals.

@pvnkg1rl75 I take Pepcid or Famotidine (generic) and it works great.
