hey everyone! so after last night's breakdown I feel so alive! I'm actually feeling my emotions and it's so weird and exciting! My only concern is what's gonna happen when the high on life feeling eventually fades and I go to feeling nothing?

@VaporEX I feel like most of us live our lives like that. Healing isn't linear, we'll have breakdowns and then we'll feel like we're doing really good and suddenly we're just meh. You might be thinking about healing processes as if it should be a sped-up thing, when it's definitely not the case. It's okay to be in the middle, especially when there's not a lot going on. Even mentally healthy people will "be in the middle" for awhile sometimes when they're not processing big events or just got out of something terrible. I think you should give yourself time - definitely reflect on how life's been these past couple of days and what would make you feel better moving forward. But don't feel like you have to get everything done in a few weeks, we live our lives growing up and reprocessing and building ourselves back up.

Have definitely went through this before šŸ˜... never a fun rollercoaster. I call these pride highs though they're probably different for everybody. I'd suggest having access to a journal or a notes app and getting out all your feelings there when you feel stuff so you don't feel inclined to do anything weird or impulsive without trying to consult yourself first. Though I have no other professional advice because I usually just ride these ones out

@sillyashell the only weird thing was me actually enjoying my life, now this pride high is gone I feel like I'm stuck between progress and regression back into a hermit

Please just be careful, if you have access to funds don't spend them unless you need them and please make sure you're around friends or family when you crash because while you feel good now you need to remember how it's going to feel when you go back down.
