Has anyone had success with Plaquenil for connective tissues disease symptoms?

Insomnia insomnia insomnia I love Plaquenil but the only thing I don't like is the headaches and insomnia

been on plaquenil since 2009. was stable in remission by 2015, weaned off plaquenil per rheum and a few weeks later developed what we suspect was kikuchi syndrome. plaquenil definitely helps keep flares away/at bay.

I get frequent headaches, fatigue, joint pain, flares, and inflammation in the chest

I am on plaquenil and it is important to note it takes at least 3-6 months to start feeling the effects/ working. I just hit 6 months on it and I do feel my fatigue and joint pain is better. I am still having flares & talking to my doctor about increasing my dose. The more time on it, the more effective it is

Hi there! Tbh, my first rheumy put me on Plaquenil, but I don't see any difference. I mentioned this after several months, and then I was told it's to prevent flares. I have severe asthma and so many bronchial / pneumonia infections, so I had lung problems before my RA was dx. I don't think Plaquenil does anything at all for my lung disease/s.
