The insomnia has been pretty bad for me recently too. When I’m alone with it I like to lean into doing the weird stuff that I don’t like other people around for. Like researching an obscure topic or watching sappy period dramas or spending too much time organizing my pantry. Audio books and podcasts have been really helpful for me too. I call them “thought replacement” haha

I'm doing the opposite. I have been sleeping like crazy. I hope you find a way to pass your time in a productive (or at least not harmful) way. I know that tends to be when I get myself into trouble.

@FairyPrincesss I es sleeping like crazy just prior to this episode, like 16 hours a day asleep on average. Now, I’m lucky if I can get a max of 5 hours of sleep chopped up. And I’m doing very fun stuff! I’m learning to do my own acrylic nails, I power cleaned my embarrassingly gross apartment yesterday, and today I am learning to play solitaire and getting some belongings ready to go to storage. Oh! I’m also playing with my pets more, doing laundry, and even reading books!!! I’m only not enjoying this energy when it’s like time I’d usually be asleep because that’s when my bf and roommate are working so I can get incredibly lonely and cycle through negative thoughts quicker than I know what to do with. But, that’s because I’m getting 3 Breast biopsies on Monday and I’m EXTREMELY ANXIOUS about it. Then, the following Monday, I have to meet with a surgeon because I found a massive lump in my breast at the end of last year. The anxiety of the breast issues is what I’m believing caused this manic episode…Im so sorry for how much I wrote btw! (Manic) 🤦🏻‍♀️
