What is it?

Hemihypertrophy is a rare condition characterized by asymmetry between both sides of the body- one side grows more than the other. It is either idiopathic or caused due to several syndromes such as neurofibromatosis and Beckwith- Wiedemann. It happens slightly more on the right side, and may involve the head, trunk, and internal organs.
