Symptoms of bicipital tendinitis may include one of more of the followings: - Pain or tenderness in the front of the shoulder - Pain that moves down the upper arm bone - A frequent snapping sound in the shoulder

Treatment

Non-surgical treatment may be effective in most patients. This treatment contains: rest, ice, painkillers, steroid injections, and physical therapy. In some cases when surgery is required, the damaged tendon can be replaced or repaired, depending on the severity of the injury.
