Bronchospasm is when the airway’s muscles get narrowed, resulting in less oxygen received by the body. When someone experiences bronchospasm he or she may feel like they can’t get enough air, it could be a terrifying experience. It is more common in people with allergies, asthma, COPD, emphysema and different lung diseases.
