What is it?

Factor VII is a protein produced by the liver and is one of the clotting factors. Factor VII deficiency is a blood clotting disorder that causes excessive or prolonged bleeding. When a blood vessel is damaged, factor VII constricts the blood vessels to slow down blood supply, has a part in the formation of a temporary plug in the wound, formation of fibrin plug and wound healing. Factor VII deficiency may be inherited (rare) or acquired, occurring after birth, due to medication use, and medical conditions such as liver disease, myeloma, sepsis, aplastic anemia or vitamin K deficiency.

Factor X Deficiency is a rare bleeding disorder, which varies in its severity. In its acquired form it may be caused due to other disorders such as liver disease or amyloidosis. Symptoms may appear at any age.
