I have recently been diagnosed with gall bladder polyps and have to have it removed. Is it possible to live a normal life after its removal?

Hi everyone! I recently got diagnosed with gallstones about a month ago. I had been struggling to find a doctor that could tell me what was going on, until they finally found the gallstones through an ultrasound. My pain location is only in my back. My question is, what symptoms did you all have, and if you had gallbladder removed did it help? I got two different opinions from separate doctors and only one said he recommended surgery.
