I've been working towards recovery for some time now. I think that it's about being you in a safe space, not putting on a brave face and being open, which can be difficult at the best of times. Being able to define where you are at and not judge it, take steps as you grow into something new and accept where you are that day. Believing that you can improve as you continue to act with kindness towards yourself. This will help you to be more resilient as you have been able to show and reinforce to yourself, how you overcome your trauma with every act you do each day, embodying the lessons you have learnt.
