Need a Wheelchair but Can't Afford It

I wish I could get a wheelchair It’s so expensive and insurance only covers half I tried to look into donations but idk

      @Ash.G i wouldnt no how to go about that I just don’t feel right taking money from ppl so I’m earning it to pay for the balance from what my insurance doesn’t cover

      Ugh, insurance companies are terrible, I'm really sorry. Can relate a bit, I went into a bit of credit card debt and had to pay it off over time to get a rollator walker with a seat. (Not recommending this unless you have the means or some help.) Thankfully, my insurance covered a basic wheelchair but the rollator walker helped with my freedom since I can be ambulatory with the rollator and just sit as needed unless pain has me stuck in bed. I otherwise needed someone to help push me in the wheelchair. The rollator helps me tolerate longer events and helps during my flare-ups.

        @DragonflyHKD I’m happy you found something to relieve your pain also it’s struggle when we are ambulatory wheelchair users ppl think I’m faking it and don’t even no my medical history

      If you have a prescription from a doctor for it insurance covers most of it

        @k8lynt just a basic wheelchair not electric the hospital wheelchairs are to big for me so I need one customized to me
