Is it Normal to Enjoy Cutting?

Same here. It feels horrible, but at the same time it makes me feel SOMETHING, you know...? I've tried alternatives such as snapping with a rubber band, breathing, drawing on myself, etc. Nothing makes me feel the way cutting does. This leads to guilt, which leads to more cutting. It's a horribly flawed cycle, but I want you to know that around one in five people do this too. I "enjoy" it as well 😓

I do the same. Sometimes when I relapse and my parents ask why I feel like I can’t say or else it’ll seem worse. I cut when I get bored, sad, even happy, cause as bad as it is, cutting makes me happy.

Me too, I kinda like the way it forms those little beads of blood for some reason.

Yes I mean atleast in my experience. I do the same thing obviously it’s not a great obsession but your not alone
