Does anyone else ever want to just delete all social media out of nowhere? Just to live a more simplistic life and find happiness in what you already have? I feel like I'm constantly going in cycles of wanting to after I see someone else who has, sometimes I will delete everything, then download it again. Better yet. has anyone on here deleted all forms of other social medias? How has it gone for you?

I have never really used much social media, except for Facebook. About 4 yrs ago, I stopped reading my thread, only post occasionally and go to specific friends pages to check in with their posts. That helped tremendously. For the last yr or so, I have not even opened it. I am seriously considering deleting it. I am less stressed, less irritable, and have less tension in my body since not using it.

Ive felt the need but honestly I think I just got better at not using social media often. Like, I have Facebook for my family and that's about it. I don't look at it unless someone messages me. I deleted Twitter and Instagram because I wasn't doing anything meaningful there and I didn't need it to keep up with any loved ones. So now I have Messenger, Snapchat, and Tumblr. The first two I only use for messaging - I avoid watching people's stories except for like 3 people I have notifs turned on for.

I understand that feeling. I a couple weeks ago I deleted Snapchat, Instagram, and tiktok off my phone. And I’ve honestly felt so much better since then and had more time for other things.
