TW: panic attack, intrusive thoughts I feel like I can’t get my brain to shut off. I had a panic attack two days ago at work and I haven’t been able to shake the symptoms. My chest hurts so bad, my heart feels like sometime has a death grip on it, it hurts to breathe… I’ve been so spaced out I’ve missed my exits while driving and was late for a regular meeting (which is rare for me). I feel like I’m going crazy… everyone else around me can blow off these feelings, but I can’t stop obsessing over every little detail… it’s driven me in to what feels like a 3 day long panic attack… what’s wrong with me? I want to try medication because I just can handle this… but I don’t know what’s fast-acting when I get in these head-spaces or even where to start… I won’t have health insurance until December… I just feel like not being around is so much easier than feeling all this pain.
