Topirimate and Mental Health: Any Connection?

It's probably made my moods worse tbh. My regular provider prescribed it for chronic migraines. And needless to say, since taking it I've been more irritable. About a year ago he went up 50mg and come to think of it, that's when I couldn't stand a lot more sounds. I've been highly more irritable. The only way to describe it is it's like a dog with rabies. I have to wear headphones from time I'm awake til time I go to bed. I'm not sure but it makes a little more sense now as that's the only medicine that's changed. But I don't want to go back to having head splitting migraines so I'll just deal, ya know.

I took it years ago, the only way I can describe it, it made me stupid. Does that make sense?

Topirimate was terrible to me. Huge dip in mental health, but it also caused physical symptoms that prevented me from being able to eat. Got super sick.
