any good tips for caregivers? supporting a family member with aml?

Hi there, I was diagnosed 3 years ago. My family has been very supportive throughout the journey. Usually, my niece 35, would help me go on short walks, and sometimes we talk about our favorite books..we are both avid readers. On my lonely days I write, I write my emotions out. Writing out my emotions is also a great way I cope with tough times. The whole family would come around have convos, make dinner, and have a good laugh over past family events till I finally wear out. Having loved ones helping with little things and immersing myself in things I love to do has really helped me in this journey. First, be strong, then they will pick the sense of being strong when you’re around them. Wishing you all the best..

From an AML patient POV - don't feel sorry for us too much. Don't go too easy on us
