I have padded gloves to help with hitting/punching tics and wrist braces to help when dystonic tics hurt my wrists :))

usually squeezing my arms helps, or tightening all my muscles simultaneously.

My dog is trained to get in the way of me if I have harmful tics, she’s not a service dog but it was pretty easy to train her, she’s just a family dog :)

my mom has me wear gloves when they start getting bad so i don’t hurt my hands too bad on hard surfaces or to soften the blow to my collar bones and head…also keep small pillows around so if you can keep in your lap so you don’t hit your legs
