How to Handle Tics During Family Arguments

So I have tics that get really bad when I’m really mad or really anxious, and while I’m arguing with my parents they do stuff that just enrages me, cause me to tic really bad. And they always think I’m doing it on purpose like “I’m trying to act scary”, I’ve talked to them about this but nothing seems to help and it’s only getting worse, how do I handle this

Hi, first of all, I understand what you're going through. I remember dealing with tics that were particularly difficult during stressful and busy periods and it greatly disturbed both me and my environment. My parents also thought I was doing it on purpose. I recommend a few things, first of all, talk to your parents seriously and explain to them how much it's out of your control. Secondly, I would recommend starting psychological therapy, it was very helpful for me to talk to someone who doesn't judge me and is really there to listen, and even gave me quite a few ways of coping. In addition, you can also add drug treatment, I would suggest that you go to a family doctor and he would probably know where to refer you. Have you tried these options?
