I have a tic where my hand cramps up, but I really want acrylic nails. Any tips for how I can avoid stabbing my palm and still have cool nails?

Hello! :) Instead of medication, I am able to see a neurophyscologist, who has helped me with certain irritating tics by trying something called "Habit Reversal Therapy" meaning you would tic, then create a different action to follow up with, therein retraining your brain and helping calm the tic! So, for an example, if your hand cramped up, right afterward, you could stretch your fingers out for a second! This will help to maybe lessen that specific tic so you can wear your acrylics! I hope this helps!
