I am now mentally aware that I am in a safe environment and keep consciously reminding myself that it is safe here and outside and there are no terrible lurking threats. But it does not feel true even when I tell myself so, I feel that there is something outside my awareness that will come out and threaten everything. it's hard to relax or enjoy things.
