Do compression gloves help with performing thumb/wrist centric activities with Tenosynovitis? I'm not diagnosed, but my symptoms match pretty much perfectly, and I haven't had luck figuring out what's wrong otherwise. I also unwittingly performed the test for it, which caused me an IMMENSE amount of pain, as it apparently should. I hear that braces help, as does rest. However I am an artist, and work a job that requires me to use scissors a LOT. I've noticed that tasks that require a lot of wrist + thumb moving cause my hand to sort of Seize Up as well as just hurt really bad... but I can't just stop drawing and quit my job altogether. Would a compression glove help me while I'm performing tasks that require more effort on my wrists? I sleep with a brace and make sure to do stretches, but was wondering if a simple compression glove would help with the remaining pain/seizing while I'm moving my thumb and wrist, OR if it'd just be a waste of my money.

Some users have found relief from hand and wrist pain by using compression gloves. One user mentioned that they wear arthritis gloves while sleeping and compression gloves while awake, stating that the gloves hold their fingers in place and provide some relief. Another user suggested using braces at night and compression gloves during the day. However, it's important to note that everyone's experience may vary and what works for one person might not work for another.
