Advice on playing instruments with hyper mobility syndrome and carpal tunnel

I’m 16, and I have hyper mobility syndrome + my PT thinks I’m developing carpal tunnel. I wear a wrist brace at night, but I often find that I feel like I’m losing control of my hands with pain and numbness. I draw, play flute and guitar, and different things like that. To any older ppl, do you think I should stop playing flute or anything like that? I really don’t know and I feel lost

I've had carpal tunnel for years. I wouldn't say you need to give up anything, just take breaks as needed. Consistently wearing your brace is big, and it does take time to get better. I know that can be very hard though. I also play instruments, and am a pastry chef and cake decorator. I use my hands a lot. Those repetitive motions with your hands are what kills, and if you don't take those needed breaks your CT will end up making you when your fingers go numb and start twitching😬😂
