What do you think these symptoms in response to a head injury are, and what does it mean? I don't think I'm still affected but all sorts of things are wrong with my brain so it's hard to know. this was 2 years ago. I was in residential treatment and I was restrained improperly, spending almost half an hour hitting my head on the tile floor as well as being dragged to the ground from sitting. The next day I had a raccoon mask shaped patch of petechiae, a headache of course, and I kept having episodes where my vision went black for a second or a few seconds and I lost all sense of direction and would fall or tilt way over. this happened several times over about 2 days. the staff all thought I was being dramatic and nobody checked me out until a week later when I got to talk to my mom and she yelled at them, by which point the symptoms were gone. I really just want to know why that happened and what those weird episodes are called. (I asked this question before but it disappeared after my old phone broke and nobody ever answered so I'm asking again. in case this is familiar.)

Based on the provided context, it seems like the symptoms described could be indicative of a concussion or other form of traumatic brain injury. The blacking out episodes, loss of direction, and falling over could potentially be related to post-concussion syndrome. However, this is not a definitive diagnosis and it's recommended to seek professional medical advice for an accurate assessment.
