Fell Hard on My Back, Neck Hurting - Do I Need to See a Doctor?

Context: I fell on my back extremely hard recently, using my left leg as balance before the fall. And eventually hit my head on concrete after, while also pulling something in my neck. My neck is the thing that’s hurting and a mark appeared on my skin around the area of effect. It’s about 3 centimeters long and it’s like reddish… is this necessary for an appointment

You're holding this intense conversation online without issue. I'm thinking you might have a small bruise in the area but head trauma is unlikely. Changes in consciousness, dizziness, excessive sleep would be significant with what you describe here but otherwise it really doesn't seem like too much to worry about. MRI, CAT are both going to expose you to unnecessary radiation so without more injury to document it seems You're OK, just shaken.

Also, I think my neck went through whiplash of some sorts. So far I don’t have any headaches

If it were me, I'd go get checked out. Hitting your head is no joke. If things are fine after that and your neck still bothers you, maybe a chiropractor?

I would do that also. Go have a CAT scan done just to make sure you have nothing going on. You gonna be really careful when you get head falls.
