So recently I've become mad at my body. You might be thinking that I just want to lose weight and be skinny. I mean your kinda right. But hear me out. I've been around the same weight for a while, about 190-180, and I'm 5'9. I also have a significant amount of belly fat. I work out and walk a lot, I dont eat a lot of food and eat pretty healthy. I don't consume candy, soda, alcohol, or snack foods. And yet I'm still "overweight." I've never not been "Overweight". I'll do crazy workouts and feel tired, but the next day, I'm not ever soar. I've done everything to my ability to be healthy. And I've been living this lifestyle for a while (couple of years). I just wanted to see improvement. I will continue to live the way I do because I'm healthy. But if anyone can tell me why nothing is changing, that would be awesome! I just don't know what else to try anymore. Or maybe we can just chat and relate to each other in the comments!

I've fallen into the "over weight" category on the BMI chart since I was 12, as a 25 year old man i fit into large children's clothing comfortably and am perfectly healthy, which is the important part, despite indulging in some desserts and fast food on occasion. I do still have some belly fat that some people treat as a lot when it's just not, when I lay on my back you can essentially count all of my bones. BMI is blatantly outdated as a system and designed for specific genetics that often don't include a lot of people of color and people with "endomorphic" body types in general

Have you asked your primary care provider to run full hormone panel, checking thyroid specifically?

@wrenishere They have checked my thyroid and said I was good. I do have a past with hormone issues, which is why I take birth control, but I'll definitely look into getting a full panel done!
