Whenever I want to lose weight people ask why and say they like me the way I am. But this feels discouraging to me because I'm not comfortable in my own skin and I absolutely despise the way I look. And part of me feels like I'm just meant to be the fat friend and that every one wants me to be. And every time I've tried to lose weight, I can't keep it off or barely lose a few pounds.

      Okay first off it's your body. If you want to lose weight make sure you are doing it for the right reasons. You have every right to want to change how you look. Just make sure you are doing it for yourself and not anybody else. And make sure you are being healthy about it. Don't cut out entire meals. Try drinking a lot of water, try to eat smaller portions. Don't let the thought of losing weight control you or else you won't see any progress. Just live your normal life and make small choices and it will add up.
