Im gonna be 6 months on T at the end of this month, and my voice dysphoria keeps getting worse bc my voice hasnt dropped is it possible it literally wont drop? Its the only thing keeping me from passing in public and its so frustrating : ( (Im on gel T but they told me its the same dosage as if i was getting shots and im on the average dose not low dose) I notice small changes with it like my singing voice i can go deeper then before and some songs i cant sing anymore bc its to high but my normal voice isnt deepening it barely sounds different

Voice training definitely helped me! T hardens your vocal Chords, but you need to learn how to relax and let your body use them. When I'm tense my voice hightens as well.

Don’t worry! Even if it takes awhile ur voice will drop! In the meantime, definitely do voice therapy yk look up those videos where they show you how to give your voice a good range and practice talking. It took me awhile on injections for my voice to become passible, it just takes time yk GRIT. You got this dude. If in a year your voice still hasnt become passible? THEN worry. But so far so good my friend you got this 😎

If you have more access to a lower range now, what about speaking a bit lower on purpose? Your body might need to get used to actually using the lower voice. It’s sort of a muscle memory thing I think

@Beetle444 thats the thing i cant talk lower, only sing some lower and also its different everyday sometimes i can sing songs low and other times i struggle more
