Struggling with Psychosis Episodes on Effexor and Hydroxyzine

I'm now on 225mg for effexor that's almost the max dose. I like it but it's not enough and the hydroxyzine is good but it's not enough either. I'm still have psychosis episodes. My doctor wants to start me on Latuda but it's stuck being approved by insurance so I don't have it yet. I was really hoping to start Seroquel or Zyprexa instead.

Tell your psychiatrist that you want to start the other meds instead. They should value your input. I had a terrible experience on Latuda and seroquel though I always get the rare side effects lol. Helps most people a lot!
