Struggling with Depression and Derealization

Hello, I’m really struggling. I feel like i’m losing my touch with reality and my sense of self. I’m just missing that everything will be fine feeling. I’ve been in bed the whole day. Anyone else here have depression and/or derealization/depersonalization? I’m not sure how to start getting treated for these things. I was kind of hoping I could get my hands on some adhd meds because I feel as if the adhd is exacerbating all of my other symptoms. I don’t want a psychiatrist to think I just want drugs.

      @Tyler36 I haven’t taken any meds. As a matter of fact I’ve only seen a therapist once. My health insurance is very bad.

      I'm in a very similar situation. I have many moments where it feels like I don't know who I am and I just loose myself. It's exhausting, but I do suggest going to a psychiatrist. Maybe writing down all your feelings about what's going on and try to tell the psychiatrist in detail what's happening. If they just think you want drugs for your struggles, then they seem like a bad psychiatrist for you.

      I've experienced some of the same thing. When I lost a bunch of weight, I started to lose touch with who I am. It's tough.
