I have also had two small bowel resections and struggle with the same things. I have major malabsorption problems and struggle so much with constant diarrhea. I have found that liquid iv (a powder that you can add to water) has helped me SO MUCH with issues of dehydration due to having 10-15+ bowel movements a day.

I have had constant diarrhea for over 2 years. I can count the semi solid bowel movements on one hand. I lost weight at first but now I’m holding steady. I’m lucky enough to not need any help with dehydration, but I constantly have dry mouth and drink a lot of water.
