Struggling with Being Undiagnosed Autistic

Sometimes I just hate being autistic, since im undiagnosed nobody believes me when I tell them I did my research and that I'm unable to get a diagnosis. and my school treats me like an average student despite all the signs and me asking for help. :(

I'm sorry!! I hate it when you're treated unfairly just for self diagnosing. Have you thought about getting an official diagnosis just to make things easier or is that not an option?

I'm so sorry you're dealing with that. I can totally relate to what you're saying. I just turned 48 and even though I don't have a formal diagnosis from a Dr I've done my research as well and I'm finally trying to get the answers I deserve from a psychiatrist I'm seeing. I've always felt different from others my entire life but back then there was no name for it therefore my parents didn't do anything about it. I also have a 17 year old son who's autistic as well but he was diagnosed young. My advice is don't stop searching for answers and that diagnosis 💕

Ive had my assessment and now I’m waiting to be treated which will be after i leave school. My school knows but still dont give me the help i need. And my family says ‘your not diagnosed you can’t just say you can’t do it because [insert a symptom] which sucks im not using it as an excuse but it’s what the doctor said they suspected i have. It’s annoying i get.
