How are people dealing with starting a new exercise routine. I need to build strength and cardiovascular endurance.

      What's always worked for me after long periods of being sedative is taking a short walk, such that by the halfway point, you are breathing enough to feel it, then head home at a brisk pace. Every couple of days push just a little more, but not so much that you're winded before you get home. In my 30s and 40s, two weeks of this each day, and I was up to two miles of hilly walks. In my 50s it takes three weeks or so to show real improvement. Good luck!
