Usually socially transitioning is the first step! Find a name and pronouns that fit you and decide if you want to come out to close people on your life (or strangers on the internet to get a feel if you like being called by a certain name)

You can also find lists and maps online for doctors and clinics that do informed consent. The Planned Parenthood near me had a months-long waiting list, but I got into my current doctor after about two weeks.

Coming out and establishing pronouns is definitely the first step!

Generally the first step is to come out. If it's not safe to do that, though, it's perfectly normal to medically transition without telling anyone. Hit up your local planned parenthood for hormones if that's the route you want to take.

If you’re talking medical transition, I’d refer to your nearest hospital or gender clinic to begin. Some insurances will not cover hormone replacement therapy. Good luck!

Hi Klo! Transitioning can look very different for each person but for me i look at the things that bring me dysphoria and i work on that until the dysphoria is lessened
